What job/study are you doing right now and tell us a little about it?
Technologist at NSG/Pilkington I'm based at the NSG European Technology Centre in Lathom. I do CNC programming and process development for the automotive glazing industry.
Did you do any further/higher education?
No
How did you decide on your career path and what is/was most interesting about your work?
I started in production at the Tripex plant in Eccleston and after CNC training at Bystronic in Switzerland I started doing development work on prototype cars and processes.
Can you share a couple of fond memories of your time at St Cuthbert's?
A trip to South West France with Mr O'Reilly.
Did you have a favourite/influential teacher? What made them so important to you?
Mr Barrow started my interest in Physics.
What advice would you give our current students?
Always get as much as possible from education.
